°Ayasuluk Citadel on °İsabey Mahallesi
° The combination of the marble fassades and the mortared rubble made the walls 4 meters thick. The citadel walls were 1.5 km around with 17 towers. Entry to the citadel from the south was through the Gate of Persecution, which first led into the Basilica.

°City of Ephesus at °Selcuk Efes
° It was built in the 10th century BC on the site of the former Arzawan capital by Attic and Ionian Greek colonists. During the Classical Greek era it was one of the twelve cities of the Ionian League. The city flourished after it came under the control of the Roman Republic in 129 BC.

°Cukurici Hoyük on Acarlar Mahallesi
° The excavations at Cukurici Hoyuk revealed the oldest settlement of Ephesos, which began about 9000 years ago, but also one of probably the oldest settlement sites in Western Anatolia.
