It has a small bell and a single dome, with small windows, all within a wonderful white building. One of the oldest Russian museums (7 Nekrasova str.) - the museum is part of the estate of Sergey POgankin's estate ( built 1671-1679), the biggest stone building of the 17th c Pskov. In 1710, during pestilence times, the last Pogankin died and the building was given first to military stores, and then, in 1900, to the History Society of Pskov.In 1902, a museum of arts, history and archaeology was opened here.
