Lead Mosque at Rruga Gaqi Gjika
The mosque's intricate design and detailed craftsmanship reflect the rich heritage of the Ottoman period. Visitors can admire the elegant minaret and the beautifully decorated interior, which showcases traditional Islamic art and calligraphy.
King Mosque at Rruga Kurt Pasha
The entrance porch is an 18th century addition and the top of the minaret was recently redone. Inside, there is a richly decorated mirhab, a mezzanine for women, and woodwork decorated with colorful geometric patterns and calligraphy of Allah's name.
Bachelors' Mosque at Rruga Antepatrea
It has two floors and arcades on three sides of it. The minaret of the mosque is low. The paintings inside the mosque date from the years 1927-1928.
Gorica Bridge at Ura e Gorices
It is one of the oldest and most popular Ottoman bridges in Albania. It connects two parts of Berat, was originally built from wood in 1780 and was rebuilt with stone in the 1920s.
Berat Castle at Rruga Mihal Komnena
Inside Berat castle houses many historical elements. A Mosque, "Red Mosque", which can be identified by it's lonely minaret (a staircase inside provides access to the top), more than 20 Christian churches, and a central museum which surrounds one of the largest Orthodox churches with many 16th century paintings, by "Master Onufri", and a decorative alter inside.
Church of St. Mary of Blachernae at Kisha e Shen Mari Vllahernes
The church dates mainly from the 13th century and contains impressive frescoes and icons on its interior walls and ground from the 16th century.
