Cumalikizik

Cumalıkızık Mahallesi, Yıldırım
The Kızık villages in Bursa are thought to have been built in the early 1300s. Cumalıkızık is the best preserved and most authentic of these villages, representing the Ottoman strategy of conquering first the rural areas and later the towns, providing a safe hinterland for their forces.
Yildirim Madrasah

Placed at the Northwest of the Lightning Mosque, the School of theology was erected by Bayezid in 1399. From the arcaded sides, the covered lenghtwise by vaults. On each side of the entrance, there are vaulted chambers for the hodjas. The classroom is placed on an octagonal rim and covered by a lead-plated dome. The decorations of the classroom are very beautiful.
Green Tomb

The Green Tomb (Yesil Turbe) is a mausoleum of the fifth Ottoman Sultan, Mehmed I, in Bursa, Turkey. It was built by Mehmed's son and successor Murad II following the death of the sovereign in 1421.

Tombs of Osman Gazi and his son Orhan Gazi are powerful, but not in terms of architecture or sytle but rather in meaning: these 2 warriors are the founders of a state which turned in almost 200 years into an empire that dominated the world and the place they have chosen for their own tombs is in itself an indicator that this development had nothing to do with chance or coincidence, it was the realization of a vision they had in mind since the beginning: the place where the tombs are situated right now hosted one of the most important churches of the Byzantine Empire, the gigantic ruler of the time.

The large complex is composed of the Muradiye Mosque, Muradiye Madrasa, Muradiye Bath, Muradiye Hospice, a fountain, epitaphs, Sultan Murad II's tomb, Şehzade Ahmed's tomb, Cem Sultan's tomb, Şehzade Mahmud's tomb, Şehzade Osman's tomb, Şehzade Mustafa's tomb, Mahidevran Sultan's tomb, Şehzade Mehmed's tomb, Gülşah Sultan's tomb, Ebe Hatun’s tomb, Hüma Hatun's tomb, Sittişah Hatun's tomb, the Saraylilar's tomb, and Şirin Hatun's tomb.

Tomb of Sultan Murat Hudavendigar
