The construction of the Santa Cruz Church was completed by 1565. The Dominicans rebuilt the Santa Cruz Church in 1710.
Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church at Rua Jose Falcao, Altinho
The colonial Portuguese Baroque style church was first built in 1541 as a chapel on a hill side overlooking the city of Panjim. It was eventually replaced by a larger church in the 1600s as part of Portuguese Goa's religious expansion. This church houses the ancient bell that was removed from the Augustinian ruins of the Church of Our Lady of Grace (Nossa Senhora da Grassa) in the once famed city of Old Goa.
San Pedro Church at Velha Goa
In the background of the main altar there is an old wooden frame encrusted with thin marine shells. There are few inscriptions on the floor but almost erased. This freshly yellow painted chapel is indeed an endearing sight that still manages to charm onlookers.
Basilica of Bom Jesus on Old Goa Road, Bainguinim
The Basilica of Bom Jesus Church located in Goa is one of a kind in India and is known for its exemplary baroque architecture. Built in 1594 and consecrated in 1605, the building of this church coincides with the beginning of Christianity in India.
St. John the Baptist Church at Pether, Carambolim, Bainguinim
St. John the Baptist church, Carambolim was originally a primitive Chapel which was raised to the status of a parish church in 1541.

Church of the Cross of Miracles at Cruz Dos Milagres, Bainguinim
In the 17th century, people of Old Goa reported spotting a human figure resembling the image of crucified Jesus on a hill. Following this, a few people also reported miraculous cures. A canonical investigation classified these as supernatural cures and thus began the story of the Church of the Cross of Miracles. Ever since then, this building on Boa Vista hill has been abandoned, destroyed and rebuilt a few times over.
Our Lady of Amparo Church at Mandur Church Road, Lihas Goa, Mandur
The Church of Our Lady of Refuge also known as Nossa Senhora do Amparo Church was founded in 1710 on the initiative of the Gaunkar Dionisio Ribeiro and his wife Angelica Rodrigues. The primitive chapel was part of the parish of Azossim. It was raised to seat of its own parish on February 1, 1717.
