Church of Our Lady of the Rosary

Neo-Gothic building, with a single centralized tower that can be seen from all over the region, it has a set of frescoes created by the Italian priest Frei Nazareno Confaloni.

The restored colonial governor’s residence is a very handsome piece of work. The guided tour (English usually spoken) takes in antique furniture, a curious triangular courtyard and lots of information about the history of the town and the building.
Foundry House

Created in 1752, it had delayed the beginning of its activities. On May 21, 1753, it had not yet begun to operate, as can be seen from the proposal made by the then Governor D. Marcos Noronha to the Câmara de Goiás, requesting that the capitation be continued until Cassa "in terms of working". Terida was probably abolished in 1823.
Quartel do XX barracks

This 18th-century barracks has been modified over the years, but parts still date from its construction in 1747, making it the oldest building in town. Step in for a look at its beautiful central courtyard.
Fountain Square

Dr. Brasil Caiado Square is the largest square in the city. It is home to the Chafariz de Cauda, built in stone with soapstone details by slaves in 1778 to supply water to the city of Goiás.
